Offshore Field Joint Coating Technician

We are urgently hiring Offshore FJC Technicians for active oil & gas operations in Houma, LA. This full-time temporary assignment (1+ month) involves 12-hour shifts and includes operating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining field joint coating equipment in a fast-paced offshore environment. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical or electrical experience, knowledge of coating systems, and the ability to work safely and efficiently under offshore conditions while supporting production, quality, and HSE standards. Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and maintain field joint coating equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and coating systems Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment reliability Apply coating systems including HSS, PP/PE, PUF/HDPF, 3LPP, and 3LPE Complete QC documentation and follow offshore safety procedures and PPE requirements Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Experience with mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical repair and troubleshooting Offshore oil & gas, coating, blasting, welding, or fabrication experience preferred Ability to work 12-hour shifts in demanding offshore environments and lift up to 75 lbs Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and quality control procedures Must pass a drug screen and background check
