We are currently seeking a Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician for a 6-month contract opportunity (Temp to Perm potential for the right candidate), based in Billerica, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the performance and reliability of our manufacturing operations by calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production line and facility equipment. You will work with a combination of high-precision commercial systems and custom-engineered equipment, supporting advanced manufacturing processes in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment issues Assemble, install, and test new production equipment Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records using an electronic logging system Coordinate the purchase of spare parts and work with equipment vendors and service providers Collaborate with production operators to identify and resolve equipment issues Participate in an on-call rotation (every other weekend) Maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment What You'll Need High school diploma or technical certification 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and manuals Experience working with complex manufacturing processes Hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Nice to Have Experience with high-precision placement equipment (e.g., wire bonders, SRO systems, vacuum pumps, chillers) Familiarity with optical components and alignment Experience in a medical device or optical manufacturing environment

Compensation Pay Range:
$28.00- $43.00 per hour, depending on experience.
