Job DescriptionRole Overview Ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement systems that support product quality and operational performance. This role leads calibration activities, maintains compliance with industry standards, and partners cross-functionally to keep equipment audit-ready and production running efficiently.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal and external calibration activities and maintain schedulesManage approved calibration vendors and support vendor selectionEnsure compliance with ASTM, NIST, ISO, and customer requirementsMaintain accurate calibration records, certifications, and documentationAnalyze test data and resolve measurement errors and uncertainty issuesTroubleshoot inspection, measuring, and test equipmentAssess equipment needs and recommend upgrades or replacementsSupport calibration procedures and continuous improvement effortsCoordinate equipment repairs and servicing with suppliersEnsure timely calibration and removal of overdue equipment from servicePrepare calibration extension requests with minimal quality riskInvestigate and resolve calibration-related issuesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework preferred.

Minimum 3 years in inspection, manufacturing, or quality-related roles.

Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).Familiarity with calibration processes and quality systems; able to follow procedures and technical instructions.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.

Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with calibration systems or equipment tracking databases.

Familiarity with ISO 17025, 9001, AS9100, or other quality standards.

Experience with Nadcap requirements and auditsAdditional InformationSalary Range $33- $39 hourly. Final determination will be made based on experience.
