Position Summary StemWave is seeking a Lead Test Technician - Engineering to support system assembly, verification testing, and the transition of our electromechanical device into manufacturing. This role is embedded directly within the engineering team and will focus on hands-on execution across builds and testing. You will work closely with engineers to assemble systems, troubleshoot issues, and support verification activities. As the product matures, you will contribute to refining processes, improving test methods, and supporting pilot production. This is a build-and-test focused role with strong growth potential into leadership and process ownership. What You'll Do System Assembly & Test Execution Assemble electromechanical systems, sub-assemblies, and cable assemblies for development builds Execute functional, performance, and electrical safety testing, including high-voltage testing Set up and operate laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, measurement instrumentation, and custom test benches Debugging & Analysis Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system-level failures Work directly with engineering to diagnose issues and support resolution Document test results, observations, and system performance Engineering Support & Process Development Support development of assembly procedures, routings, and work instructions Assist with verification and validation builds and structured data collection Contribute to improving test methods, build consistency, and workflow Operational Support Maintain organized lab and build areas consistent with GMP practices Support calibration and upkeep of test fixtures and equipment Assist in training new technicians as the team grows What We're Looking For Required Qualifications 3-6+ years of experience in engineering test, manufacturing test, or technician roles Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical device or regulated environments Exposure to verification and validation testing Familiarity withGMP / ISO 13485
environments Experience with fixture building, harnessing, or assembly processes Exposure to pilot production or NPI environments Basic CAD or 3D printing experienceBenefits Paid Time Off:
