If you thrive on keeping automated equipment dependable in a food‑processing environment, this role is for you. You'll pinpoint faults quickly, repair confidently, and partner with peers to keep production moving safely and efficiently. Your impact Inspect equipment for wear, breakage, and other defects; act before small issues become downtime. Repair production and processing systems across packaging and process lines. Apply strong controls knowledge to troubleshoot and repair modern automation. Analyze complex failures and implement safe, lasting corrective actions. Identify problems by listening for irregular sounds and monitoring performance. Team with maintenance technicians and engineering to resolve issues fast. Dismantle machines, replace or install parts, and return assets to service. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and related components. Support pneumatic, hydraulic, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
Install/repair electrical apparatus:
transformers, breakers, switches, receptacles, wiring, and electronic components. Maintain and repair the physical structure of equipment. Use cutting torches and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Execute preventative maintenance to drive reliability. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Work independently with strong self‑motivation and ownership. Operate and support Material Handling Equipment on a daily basis. Environment & requirements High‑tempo setting with industrial machinery. Cold storage and refrigerated rooms at about 32°F (and below in select areas); tolerate extended exposure to cold temperatures. Frequently push, pull, kneel, bend, and reach with both arms; bend, twist, and squat as needed throughout the shift. Lift up to 50 pounds without reasonable assistance.
