Description:
Calibration of engine controls for North America and global markets Complete engine calibration in accordance with procedures to meet regulations and other performance targets (emission, fuel economy, power, drivability and OBD) Prepare and manage calibration and resource schedule to meet development deadlines Test preparation, data collection, data analysis, and technical report creation on a regular basis Build successful relationships with calibration technician group Conduct vehicle testing and development under extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, high altitude) Complete required internal training necessary for job execution (Technical, Driving, etc.)Perform software logic and value confirmation activities
Requirements :
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical or other related Engineering disciplin eExperience in engine calibration (1+ years )Excellent driving recor dThorough understanding of internal combustion engine theory/practic eProficiency in MS Offic eExperience investigating technical issues and creating effective technical solution sEmission, bench, drivability or OBD calibration experience in conventional and/or hybrid powertrai nExperience calibrating engine controls for markets other than the US (Japan, Europe, China, etc. )Experience with Model-Based Design or Calibration processe sExperience with other programming languages such as Python, VBA, etc .Proficiency in project management tool sProficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/C/C++ programming language sExperience working in a culturally diverse environmen tUnderstanding of Emission and OBD regulations for US and other market s
