Automation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Operator to join our manufacturing team. This critical role involves overseeing and maintaining automated production systems, ensuring optimal operation, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in robotics, programmable logic controllers, and manufacturing processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance. Duties Set-up, adjusts and operates automated assembly equipment Review faults on HMI screesna dn follow propers teps for quick fault recovery Troubleshoots root causes of scrap and machine downtime Observes the machines bottlenecks and escalates to production leadership Assist maintenance technicians with ongoing preventative maintenance Monitors srap rates and enters electronically into JDE Inspects parts being produced, packages the products Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated systems including Fanuc robots, vision inspection systems, and distributed control systems to ensure seamless production flow. Program and adjust robotic equipment and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize manufacturing processes. Perform routine inspections and calibrations of tooling, machining equipment, and vision systems to maintain high-quality standards. Collaborate with engineering teams on robot programming enhancements and system upgrades. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities in compliance with CGMP standards. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to robotics and tooling components. . Qualifications Proven experience with Fanuc robotics, robot programming, and automation systems within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in machining, tooling, and mechanical schematics. Proficiency in programming PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and working with distributed control systems. Experience with vision inspection systems and integrating them into automated workflows. Skilled in root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot complex automation issues effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to system optimization. Pay:

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
