As the go-to problem solver, you'll keep complex equipment running smoothly, switch seamlessly between electrical and mechanical diagnostics, and collaborate with production and engineering to drive reliability and uptime.
Compensation & Schedule Pay:
$32-$41/hour (based on experience, technical depth, and overall skill set)
Shifts:
Primarily 2nd and 3rd shift roles; limited 1st shift availability What your day looks like Respond rapidly to equipment issues, isolate faults, and return lines to operation with minimal downtime Diagnose PLC and HMI problems, interpret I/O, and support controls troubleshooting Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on automated machinery Work across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Partner with operators, engineers, and leaders to improve reliability and efficiency Assist with continuous improvement efforts and support equipment upgrades Background we value 3+ years in industrial maintenance, automation, or controls troubleshooting Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, robotics, and automated equipment Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities Proven ability to diagnose and repair issues in a live production environment Experience in metal stamping or plastic injection molding is preferred Skills that set you up for success PLC troubleshooting Reading and applying electrical schematics Mechanical troubleshooting proficiency Work with 120/208/240/480V systems Electrical systems diagnostics and repair Preventive maintenance and inspection Electrical troubleshooting and repair Troubleshooting of industrial automation equipment Pneumatics troubleshooting General maintenance and repair aptitude Industrial electrical experience Metal stamping and forming (progressive die) Industrial electrical systems knowledge Mechanical systems and component repair Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Spindle maintenance and repair Electrical schematic reading Access control systems familiarity Equipment repair and maintenance Automotive manufacturing systems exposure Machines & technologies you'll work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Programmable Logic Controllers (Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens) Conveyor systems Servo motors Why you'll enjoy this role Competitive pay tied to your experience and technical expertise Stable organization with long-term growth potential Modern, advanced manufacturing environment Autonomy to make decisions and expand your technical toolkit Collaborative culture with strong leadership support If you're an experienced maintenance or automation professional seeking stability, strong earning potential, and real growth, we'd love to connect.
