Job Description

Assembly Automation Technician -
Midnight Shift Location:
Fowlerville, MI Join Our Team! We are seeking a skilled Assembly Automation Technician to support our manufacturing operations on the midnight shift in Fowlerville, Michigan. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Responsibilities Perform highly skilled corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotic systems, PLCs, vision systems, pneumatics, and automated assembly equipment. Execute preventative maintenance programs on production equipment, including cleaning, retooling, oil changes, calibration, alignment, and inspections. Assist with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and equipment reliability. Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment status effectively. Support production teams in minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. This is an off-shift position with opportunities to move to a preferred shift based on performance and business needs.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of related mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
Preferred:
Completion of an applicable apprenticeship program. Previous experience with robotics, PLC programming, automated manufacturing systems, or industrial controls. Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$34.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and skill set.
