Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines, ensuring high-quality production standards, and maintaining precision in all tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC operations, quality inspection processes, and the ability to work with various precision measuring instruments. Responsibilities Operate laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency to produce high-quality components. Utilize CNC programming skills to set up and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance. Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product specifications are met. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to laser cutting processes and equipment. Assist in the setup and operation of electrical discharge machining (EDM) when required. Maintain accurate records of production output, quality checks, and machine maintenance activities. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Laser Operator within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CNC machinery and programming is essential. Experience with quality inspection techniques and tools, including micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of laser cutting technology and techniques is highly desirable Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in machining or manufacturing processes is advantageous.
