Back Powertrain Calibration Methodology Engineer#2013323 Auburn Hills, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description Powertrain Calibration Methodology Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and validating propulsion system calibration processes which achieve world-class range, fuel economy, and drivability meeting current and future emission standards. The engineer will develop new calibration processes for both virtual and physical testing resources using techniques such as MIL, HIL and Physical properties. This role will include cross functional interaction with different CoE teams and support engineers. Process development will occur with new powertrain technologies such as BEV and xHEV for both future and carry over applications. The engineer will develop disruptive technology processes that optimize the efficiency, quality, and product delivery for the calibration functions. Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Support construction of virtual models to simulate system performanceProvide expertise to correlate vehicle, dyno, and virtual datasetsWork with the CoE teams to ensure best practices are developed and followedProvide guidance for calibrators to assure system performance objectivesWork closely with Virtual and HIL teams to ensure and define feature functionalityNeed to understand the Hybrid and electrified powertrain controls algorithm developed in
Minimum of 3 Years of experience developing Calibration testing and verification methodologyMinimum of 2 Years of experience in automotive controls/SW verification using
