2nd Shift Job Summary Hands-on maintenance role focused on electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and equipment reliability in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Critical for minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth production operations. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical equipment issues Troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred) Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance Maintain automation systems, controls, and instrumentation Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, calibration tools) Follow safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Respond quickly to breakdowns and restore operations Document maintenance activities and work orders Core Duties Electrical & PLC troubleshooting Mechanical repair & maintenance Equipment uptime & reliability support Root cause analysis Maintenance documentation & compliance Work Environment / Role Nature Food manufacturing plant (high-speed production) Physically active, hands-on role Fast-paced with downtime-critical operations Requires flexibility for weekends/off-shifts Required Skills PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley)- 3-5 years Electrical systems (motors, drives, sensors)
