Roush has an immediate opening for a Calibration Engineer II who will be responsible for developing internal combustion engine (ICE) calibrations for future automotive products. Other responsibilities include supporting the design and development of engine hardware, controls software, and other vehicle systems. This position is in Livonia, MI. As a Calibration Engineer II, you will:
Carry out dynamometer and/or vehicle-based calibration developmentAnalyze test results, review findings and develop actions to calibrate the gasoline engine control systemConduct in-vehicle calibration evaluations and provide thorough gasoline engine function assessmentsPerform hot climate, cold climate, and high-altitude development testing to meet customer objectivesCalibrate all aspects of internal combustion engine (ICE) function, including electronic throttle control and reliability monitor, OBDII, tailpipe and evaporative emissions and auxiliary subsystemsProvide positive technical contributions in a project team environmentTo be considered as a Calibration Engineer II, you will need:
Bachelor of Science in mechanical, automotive, electrical engineering or similar fieldMinimum two (2) years of hands-on
Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) dynamometer-based mapping or hardware development experienceExperience working in an environmental or emissions test facilityAbility to travel for extreme ambient condition testingAbility to drive a manual transmission vehicleData processing with MATLAB, Python, Concerto and automated script writingMS PowerPoint and Project software experienceOur full-time benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, earned sick time, STD, LTD, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, paid holidays, and more.

(Spark Ignition / Internal Combustion Engine) calibration experience at an OEM or T1 supplierExperience using commercially available calibration tool software (e.g., ETASINCA, ATI VISION
