Job Description

Description Ready to do work that really matters? As our Onsite Machine Tool Maintenance Specialist at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in New Hampshire, you'll help keep some of the nation's most important industrial machines running strong. In this role, you'll inspect, maintain, and improve a wide range of machine tools and production equipment, from newer systems to older legacy machines. Your focus will be preventing problems before they happen, keeping equipment safe, reliable, and ready to perform at its best every day. This is a high-impact role where your mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills will shine. You'll use your knowledge of PLC controls and machine systems to solve tough technical problems quickly and accurately. But this job is about more than repairs. You'll also provide expert guidance, training, and support to customers and teammates, helping raise the standard for maintenance across the board. Every time you diagnose an issue, report on equipment readiness, or improve performance, you'll help keep operations moving without delay. To succeed in this position, you'll need strong technical skills, clear communication, and a team-first mindset. You'll use digital tools to keep service reports accurate and up to date, so everyone has the information they need when they need it. You'll also build strong working relationships with customers and fellow Phillips Partners as you support shared goals and deliver excellent results. If you enjoy machine tools, metal cutting, fabrication, and hands-on problem-solving, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. Phillips offers a world-beating collaborative culture and competitive pay and benefits. In our 65 year history, Phillips has grown from a handful of employees to over 900 supplying and supporting manufacturing technology in the United States and around the world. Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $85,000.00 and $140,000.00 annually plus bonus opportunities. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application. Phillips Corporation is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, protected Veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
