$21.50 per hour26-03598Job SummaryThe Electronic Lab Technician I supports the research, development, and testing of electronic systems and components. This role assists engineers in building, testing, and troubleshooting prototypes, cable harnesses, and electric vehicle (EV) components to ensure proper functionality and performance. The technician plays a key role in maintaining lab operations and ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.

Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in the assembly, testing, and calibration of electronic and electrical prototypes and devicesConduct experiments and testing activities under engineer guidance following established proceduresTroubleshoot electronic prototypes, cable harnesses, and EV-related componentsPerform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and instrumentsRecord, analyze, and document test data, observations, and results accuratelySupport preparation of technical reports, summaries, and presentationsMaintain lab organization, cleanliness, and proper equipment storageFollow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environmentJob RequirementsAssociate degree or technical certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or technical environment, preferably in electronicsBasic understanding of electronic principles and componentsHands-on experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generatorsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentationAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and collaborate effectively within a teamBasic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred QualificationsExperience with soldering and circuit board assembly techniquesEducationAssociate degree or technical certification in a relevant field requiredWork Experience1-3 years of relevant laboratory or electronics experience preferred #ZR We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, color sex, national origin, citizenship status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, uniform service member status, genetic information, disability, or any other protected status, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
