Full Job Description SUMMARY:

Performs a variety of duties in the assembly, upgrade and repair of electronic assemblies, printed circuit cards and wiring harnesses. Repairs test failures as well as assist manufacturing in rework/ repairs as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Efficiently and accurately solder and/or assemble product per accompanying documentation and IPC Standards using the correct tips and temperature settings. Advanced soldering skills that apply to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 and other standards as identified. Correct removal and replacement of large and fine pitch SMT and through-hole components using proper hand soldering techniques. Ability to route, solder, and secure jumper wires. Ability to use the company's ERP and other systems needed to perform duties and responsibilities associated with this position. Ability to speak, read, write and interpret documents in the English language. Select the correct equipment, tools, and supplies for the job being performed and communicating when all requirements may not have been identified. Knowledge of materials, solder types (alloys) and flux types. Ability to work with a microscope and other magnification devices as needed. Ability to recognize and identify the different standard electronic components. Identify errors on procedures, drawings, BOMs, and other support documents and work with the support team to get them corrected. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Understand the difference between RoHs compliant and non-RoHs compliant requirements. Using hot air station and soldering iron to remove and/or replace IC's, resistors, capacitors.

Minimum:

High School Diploma; 5+ years of related SMT rework, IPC solder certification preferred OTHER SKILLS and

ABILITIES

Must be well organized individual, a good communicator, and work well with people on all levels. A current U.S. Passport, Certified Birth Certificate with a raised seal (no photo copies will be accepted), Certificate of Naturalization or Permanent Alien Resident card to meet ADCO Circuits, Inc. requirement for our Confidentiality Agreement for the ITAR.

Pay:

$19.00 - $26.00 per hour
