We maintain the expertise, technology, and knowledge to assist industries of all kinds. We are currently seeking Skilled Spindle Builders / Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and testing precision spindles. This position involves some travel within Wayne County and surrounding areas to provide service, and occasional travel to our Windsor, Ontario facility for training or collaboration. We offer a competitive hourly rate based on your experience. Key Responsibilities Assemble new spindles according to drawings, work orders, and specifications Disassemble, clean, and inspect used or damaged spindle components Measure and record critical dimensions and tolerances using precision tools (micrometers, dial indicators, etc.) Balance and test completed spindle assemblies to ensure performance standards are met Identify worn or defective parts and recommend repair solutions Maintain clean and organized work areas Work closely with quality and engineering teams to resolve build issues Follow all safety procedures and quality control processes Travel to customer sites for spindle repair or assembly Qualifications & Skills Mechanical or technical background required (e.g., auto mechanic, machinist, millwright, , or similar experience) Experience with spindle assembly, repair, or precision rotating equipment is an asset Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience Levels 2+ years of experience in precision spindle assembly, repair, or related work; ability to work with minimal supervision
