We are seeking a hands-on automation professional to commission, troubleshoot, and support complex systems at customer sites worldwide. This role requires traveling up to 60% domestically and internationally to install, debug, and validate automated machinery. Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens TIA Portal/Step7) Configure HMIs, VFDs, servo motion systems, and robotic interfaces (ABB, FANUC, EPSON) Integrate safety controllers (GuardLogix, PILZ, ProfiSafe) and fieldbus networks (EtherNet/IP, ProfiNet, DeviceNet, ProfiBus) Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools for system debugging and validation Perform machine power-up, commissioning, and final system testing at customer facilities Install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial control systems and I/O networks Qualifications Two-year technical degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial automation or control systems Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control architecture Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently on site Preferred Experience Experience with precision measurement or test systems Knowledge of GD&T and industrial manufacturing processes Experience commissioning complex machinery in customer environments
