is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration company with over 40 years of experience serving the automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, and manufacturing industries. Our full-service laboratories provide dimensional, electrical, RF/microwave, and physical calibration services, offering on-site, in-house, and outsourced solutions for a true one-stop experience. Precision is seeking a Calibration Technician to join our Dimensional Calibration Team for in-house and on-site duties.
Position Summary:
The Dimensional Calibration Technician works in our Precision Dimensional Calibration Lab, performing calibrations on a wide variety of measurement equipment. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to accurately document calibration data using our tracking software. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate. Previous calibration experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Perform dimensional calibrations on equipment, including (but not limited to): Threaded plug and ring gages Cylindrical plug and ring gages Calipers, micrometers, and indicators Pressure and force gages Accurately record calibration data in calibration management software Follow established calibration procedures and equipment-specific manuals Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment Manage multiple tasks while meeting project timelines Qualifications Associate degree or relevant technical experience preferred Exceptional attention to detail Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable working with numbers and performing basic math Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in a regulated environment (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540) is a plus Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is beneficial Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
