Responsibilities:
Install and commission building automation systems, sensors, controllers, and other related equipment in new or retrofit projects. Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BAS, including HVAC systems, lighting controls, and security systems. Calibrate and test systems for performance, ensuring optimal operation and energy efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service, including training building operators and end-users on system functionality and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of all service calls, repairs, and installations. Provide detailed reports to management and clients as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Address client concerns by diagnosing and resolving issues with building systems in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in building automation, HVAC, electrical, or a related field preferred. Knowledge of building automation systems (e.g., Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane) and controls systems. Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and other communication protocols is a plus. HVAC, electrical, or BAS certifications preferred but not required. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
