X Facebook Pinterest Copy Link WhatsApp Email Share Share this job Facebook X LinkedIn Email Electronic Technician Maple Grove, MN Apply for this job Electrical / Electronic Technician - Lab Environment Overview This role supports electrical lab operations through hands-on electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and development of micro-electronic products and support equipment. The technician will work closely with engineering teams to build, test, and refine complex assemblies in both prototype and low-volume production environments. This position requires strong attention to detail, precision assembly skills, and the ability to work from engineering documentation and instructions. Key Responsibilities Assembly & Fabrication Perform electro-mechanical assembly of electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies Execute both repetitive and non-repetitive build activities, including prototype and developmental work Work from engineering drawings, schematics, and written/verbal instructions Testing & Troubleshooting Conduct testing using electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, meters) Collect and document test data and results Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems Engineering Support Support engineers in development activities including design, fabrication, modification, and testing Provide feedback to improve product design, manufacturability, and test processes Quality & Compliance Maintain high-quality standards with near-zero defect expectations for precision assemblies Follow applicable manufacturing and quality standards (e.g., IPC, J-STD) Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment Qualifications Required 2-year technical degree or minimum 2 years of hands-on technician experience in a production or prototype environment Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics Proficiency with electronic test equipment and hand tools Strong mechanical aptitude and fine motor skills for precision assembly work Familiarity with or knowledge of

requirements Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed Preferred Experience with

Class 3 and
