Competitive pay DOE Position Overview We are seeking an Electronic Calibration Technician with formal calibration training and strong electronics and mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will have military PMEL training or equivalent experience and hands-on experience in a calibration laboratory environment. This role includes both laboratory-based calibration and on-site field service at customer manufacturing facilities. Required Qualifications Formal calibration training (Military PMEL or equivalent preferred) 3+ years military calibration lab experience OR 5+ years commercial calibration lab experience Strong electronics troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude Hands-on experience calibrating electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, HiPot testers, frequency counters, function generators, power supplies, multimeters, and thermocouples Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Good communication and computer skills Ability to plan, organize, and manage workload efficiently Ability to lift equipment and work in both laboratory and field environments Preferred Qualifications Experience in
ISO 17025
accredited calibration laboratory Knowledge of metrology, uncertainty analysis, and proficiency testing Experience with dimensional, torque, force, pressure, and mass calibration ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification Key Responsibilities Perform calibration, repair, and servicing of electronic, mechanical, dimensional, torque, force, pressure, and mass measuring equipment Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical instruments Conduct on-site field calibration services (regional travel required) Maintain accurate calibration documentation and quality compliance Support laboratory operations and customer service initiatives Work Environment On-site laboratory-based position Regional travel for field service assignments Physical activity including standing, lifting, and maneuvering equipment
