Job Description

About the Role As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure operational excellence by proactively maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical production machinery. You will play a vital role in optimizing equipment uptime and supporting a safe, efficient manufacturing environment through your technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities Execute complex repairs and preventative maintenance on production and support equipment to minimize downtime. Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting, including work with 480v 3-phase systems, PLC logic, and drive controls. Document all maintenance activities, including work orders and parts usage, to ensure accurate equipment history tracking. Uphold rigorous safety standards, including strict adherence to Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) and OSHA compliance protocols. Manage hazardous waste handling and shipping processes in accordance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete facility improvement projects and meet production goals. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure a clean, efficient workspace. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Strong proficiency with 480v 3-phase systems, relays, and control circuits. Ability to interpret complex technical manuals, schematics, and troubleshooting guides. Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds and perform tasks in elevated or confined spaces. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Preferred Skills Direct experience with PLC programming or advanced drive diagnostics. Previous certification or training in hazardous material handling. Experience operating diverse plant production machinery. Strong analytical skills for identifying root causes of equipment failure.
