Job Description

Central Electric Power Cooperative is accepting applications for the position of Line Design Engineering Technician. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a combination of fieldwork and office-based technical responsibilities, with opportunities for professional growth in project design and management. Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Design Drafting Technology, or a related field are required Three to five years of direct utility experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software required Experience with
ESRI GIS
software is a plus
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Line and substation staking Field data collection Creating and maintaining engineering drawings Maintaining accurate system records and documentation The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Class E driver's license and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
