The City of Southaven is recruiting entry-level service technicians. On-the-job training available! SUMMARY Performs work related to accomplishing various Utilities projects within the City by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs manual actions needed to excavate lines or devices and restores areas to the previous condition. Assists in evaluating, maintaining, and repairing existing water lines and sewer system components. Assists in installing new system components as required. Coordinates efforts with on-site consultants to accomplish larger scope Utilities projects. Other duties maybe assigned as needed

REGULAR ATTENDANCE IS AN ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THIS JOB. WORK CONDITIONS

Work is primarily performed in an outside environment exposed to all types of weather: hot, cold, dry, wet, etc. Heavy lifting will be required. Special Requirements
