Job Description

Are you the person teammates call when uptime is on the line? If so, you might be the Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist our Vicksburg, MS team is looking for. About the Role You'll take ownership of routine maintenance and urgent repairs across a variety of systems—mechanical, electrical, and plumbing—while prioritizing safety and documentation. Your day can include inspections, troubleshooting, recordkeeping, and teaming up with peers to improve reliability. Core Responsibilities Execute routine maintenance and necessary repairs on equipment and systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and resolve to root cause. Perform scheduled inspections to ensure safety and performance. Accurately document all maintenance activities and parts usage. Respond promptly to requests and emergencies. Collaborate with teammates to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency. Consistently adhere to safety standards and procedures. Other duties as assigned by a supervisor. What You'll Need 1+ year of maintenance experience (documented in application) OR completion of an industrial maintenance training program; combined employers accepted as long as total experience equals 1 year. Rehire eligibility at this facility only after 365 days and with fewer than 3 prior stints. 18 years or older and able to present valid Identification. Willingness to use basic hand tools. Baseline knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing. Ability to read and comprehend assignments. Physical Reality of the Job Lift up to 50 pounds. Climb stairs to 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet. Stand for long periods. Tolerate extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.
