Job Description

Summary Assures that all plant machinery and equipment remains operable to ensure production and quality levels are met. Maintain accurate calibration and other quality records as required to meet audit requirements. Assist with high level equipment and system troubleshooting. Supports Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisors, and Engineering Manager as requested. Responsibilities
  • Meet all ISO, TS, and customer calibration and audit requirements as directed.
  • Assists with all high level troubleshooting efforts and PLC issues as required.
  • Trains, mentors, and directs maintenance technicians in understanding and applying automation technologies.
  • Helps establish and evaluate effectiveness of all instrumentation related PM tasks.
  • Participates in EMaint development issues, maintenance networking and communications tasks, and addition of critical spare parts to our storeroom.
  • Performs safely assessments and participates in all equipment safety audits and remediation issues.
  • Understanding and implementation of a safe work environment.
  • Assist maintenance management in resolving key system issues that contribute to improved equipment efficiency, reduced downtime, and improved quality.
Knowledge and Skills Technical/analytic skills Effective written/oral communication Good working knowledge of computer applications Education and Experience High School Diploma 5-8 years related experience including good working knowledge of PLC's, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment. Must have had an effective background in environmental safety and supervision
Physical Requirements Travel Requirements:
Up to 1-month training in Continental US Possibility of short-term training opportunities overseas at sister Yokohama locations.
