Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Equipment Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of our diverse fleet of equipment and vehicles. This role is vital in ensuring that all machinery, including golf course mowers, tractors, generators, various golf carts, and all types of small engine turf care equipment operate efficiently and safely. The Equipment Manager will coordinate repairs, manage inventory, and implement preventative maintenance programs. We're looking for the right fit to join our team. Duties Supervise daily operations of the equipment maintenance team, ensuring timely repairs and inspections Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and vehicles Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and diagnostic tools Oversee repair processes for diesel engines, generators, heavy machinery, and all varieties of golf cart systems Maintain detailed records of repairs, service history, and inventory management Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all maintenance activities Collaborate with sales teams to support equipment sales initiatives by providing technical expertise Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized tools to perform repairs Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on complex systems using schematics and electrical experience Lead training sessions for technicians on new technologies, safety procedures, and repair techniques Experience Service technician experience with diesel engine repair, generator servicing, and electrical troubleshooting Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints Hands-on experience with Caterpillar, Kubota, and Toro equipment or similar heavy machinery brands is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to perform welding, soldering, heavy lifting, and mechanical repairs efficiently Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients Experience managing inventory of parts and tools related to equipment repair Ability to work with power tools safely. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
