Assembly Operator I Shifts Available:

Shift:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking three skilled Assembly Operator III team members to support manufacturing operations across multiple shifts. This role involves assembling, testing, and packaging fiber optic components in a clean room environment while ensuring high quality and traceability standards. After a 30-day training period, operators will work with limited supervision to deliver timely, high-quality products. Primary Responsibilities Polish and test fiber optic cables Assemble and package fiber optic connector components Terminate single and multi-fiber cables Operate fiber router and perform over-molding processes as needed Support prototype, test builds, and pre-release NPI builds Measure components using calipers, gauges, or other tools Complete operational paperwork to maintain product traceability Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs Apply cleaning methods and contamination control practices for optical assembly Perform

workmanship checks on fiber termini Safely operate equipment and identify issues Assist with estimating process step durations Suggest process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency Communicate effectively within a team environment Inspect own work using quality standards and instructions Maintain accountability and confidentiality Work overtime as needed to meet production goals Follow clean room protocols including gowning and PPE requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience required Minimum 1 year fiber optic manufacturing experience preferred SAP Manufacturing & ISO 9001 experience preferred Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills Knowledge of hand tools and blueprint reading preferred Ability to work with small parts using a microscope Good time management and attention to detail Team-oriented mindset and strong accountability Ability to understand written instructions in English Physical Requirements Lift/move materials up to 50 lbs Remain stationary approximately 75% of the time Operate machinery and move between work zones Work Environment Clean room setting requiring PPE including gowns, shoe covers, hair nets, gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes Safety and quality-focused culture Apply today to join our team and contribute to precision manufacturing in a collaborative, high-quality environment. #
