Full Job Description Must Haves:
Minimum 2-5 year of manufacturing experience required Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small, delicate components Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Plusses High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with required PPE (gown, gloves, hairnet, safety glasses, etc.) Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods (approximately 75% of the time) High Diploma or GED Fiber Optic manufacturing experience Day to
Day:
We are seeking an Assembly Operator III, IV, or V to support fiber optic manufacturing operations. This role involves the assembly, termination, and testing of fiber optic cable and connector products in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working with small, intricate components while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Assemble, polish, and test fiber optic cables and connector components Perform termination of single and multi-fiber cable assemblies Support prototype builds, test builds, and new product introduction (NPI) activities as needed Operate equipment including fiber routers and over-molding machinery Measure components using calipers, gauges, and other tools Complete required documentation to ensure product traceability Inspect work using quality standards, work instructions, and technical drawings Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs Follow proper cleaning and contamination control procedures for optical assembly Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and suggest process improvements
Compensation:
$20-35/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Pay:
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
