The City of Fayetteville is currently recruiting for Police Video Recording Specialist to perform work in the organization, maintenance, troubleshooting, and specialized technical work supporting police camera systems. Duties include locating and securing evidentiary videos and making the video available to investigative personnel. Providing support for officers for in-car and body-worn cameras. Troubleshoot issues with camera equipment and related accessories. Repair or coordinate with vendors for repair as needed. Install in-car camera systems into patrol vehicles and ensure that the system functions as designed. Run Axon reports for uncategorized videos, assist in the reassigning of unassigned videos in Evidence.com. Maintain an inventory of Axon body and in-car cameras for issuance and replacement. Train officers and detectives on the proper operation, categorization and storage of Axon videos. Run and maintain audit reports using appropriate resources for Calea accreditation. Assist with teaching the body worn camera (BWC) class to the police academy as well as the citizens police academy. For a complete job description, click here . One year of experience in the use and installation of audio/video equipment. Experience in assigning company issued equipment and tracking is preferred.Training :

This position is subject to pre-employment polygraph and/or CVSA testing. From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last approximately 4 - 6 weeks. T he process will consist of a panel interview with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, driving history check and polygraph and/or CVSA conducted by the Police Department.
