The company values a family-oriented culture and takes pride in delivering superior results on every project. Advance Concrete is seeking a dedicated and organized Shop Foreman to join the team. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of the shop by ensuring equipment is well-maintained, organized, and ready for use. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on small engines and construction equipment. Diagnose and resolve issues with small tools and equipment, including tamps, trowel machines, and generators. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed for repairs. Maintain an organized shop and laydown yard, including tracking tool and equipment check-outs and returns Clean and inspect equipment upon return to ensure readiness for future use. Collaborate closely with the shop manager, diesel mechanic, and operations personnel to support overall shop operations. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in a shop or mechanic role. Experience with small engines on construction equipment is a plus. Proficient in maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of tools and equipment. Valid drivers license and clean driving record Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for extended periods.
