AB_4949108 "Clean Room" Manufacturing company in Greenville, NC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC Maintenance Technician. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimizing automation systems, including PLCs and instrumentation. Your expertise will be essential in supporting plant reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and ISO standards. salary:
$56,000 - $70,750 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing overall facility maintenance, including repairs and preventive maintenance of plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment, including performing scheduled preventive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues. Perform general maintenance activities on plant utility systems to ensure a continuous supply of heat, steam, electrical power, chilled water, gas and compressed air. Troubleshoot, repair, and install PLC-based control systems Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors and variable frequency drives. Perform tasks involving industrial control wiring and troubleshooting. PLC basic programming Electrical troubleshooting and schematic interpretation skills The essential functions of this role include: wearing steel toe shoes manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time Skills Industrial Maintenance (5 years of experience is required) Electrical Troubleshooting (3 years of experience is required) PLC troubleshooting (2 years of experience is required) PLC Programming (1 year of experience is required) Blueprint Reading (5 years of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 5 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
