Job description Job Details Hours - Night shift 7pm to 7am - 3-4 schedule (every other weekend off.) - Some overtime required. Day shift positions available by seniority.
Requirements:
1 or more years of Electrical and/or Mechanical experience in industrial setting. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office product. Ability to work at heights with fall protection. Ability to climb a 32' ladder.Preferred but not required:
5 years maintenance or technical position working with VFD's, PLC's, conveyors, cranes, robotics, 480v/110v/24v applications. Customer service skills (we work at a customer site). SAP experience a plus. Welding and fabrication a plus. Provide technical support, mechanical and electrical error correction, preventive maintenance and repair to a modern automated storage and retrieval system for a healthcare manufacture located in McDowell County.Rate/wages:
$25-$27 plus OT dependent on experience.The ideal candidate:
- Minimum 1 year technical experience or relevant schooling. (electro-mechanical)
- Flexible schedule as our schedule does change with demand. Vacation coverage etc.
- Is comfortable with computers/Microsoft office. You will use a computer every day.
- Has great communication skills and is good working / talking with our customer.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Is self-motivated and willing to research and learn things independently when needed.
- Reliable and on-time.
- Wants to further career in the automation / robotics industry.
YOUR TASKS
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain a fully automated distribution warehouse.
- Work with a team of engineers and technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot the customers' distribution process.
- Support, maintain, repair, and upgrade installed automated conveyance system.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all automated equipment on a periodic basis.
- Troubleshoot systems down to component level.
YOUR PROFILE
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical service environment inclusive of strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Hydraulic repair experience a plus. Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus.
- Experience with Word/Excel/Powerpoint MS cloud products, SAP experience a plus.
- Must be highly articulate, proactive and self-motivated; excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated presentation skills. The ability to fill out forms/reports correctly and legibly required.
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
