Electronic Lab Technician Location:
Raleigh, North Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a technically skilled professional to join our team supporting the setup, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and testing of power systems products in a high-power laboratory environment. Our team values a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and ensures critical product validation and development objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
Execute product testing, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and operation of lab equipment and data acquisition systems, in accordance with company procedures and industry standards. Collect, organize, and document test data; support the preparation of reports and test documentation to ensure effective communication of results. Fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies, prototypes, test fixtures, and related hardware while maintaining lab organization and coordination of equipment maintenance. Troubleshoot complex electronic circuits, power electronics, and test systems, and provide technical guidance to junior technicians as well as collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.
Required:
Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related technical field from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment focused on electrical or electronic testing. Ability to work in a high-power lab environment involving equipment up to 600 Vac and 1000 Vdc, and able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. unassisted as needed throughout the workday. Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, circuits, and components, including power electronics and low-voltage power systems, with proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, digital multimeters, and data loggers.
