$55,000 - $69,000 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Expertise in calibration techniques and an understanding of measurement instruments. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes. Proficiency in using quality control software and data analysis tools. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations is preferred. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Conduct thorough calibration of measurement instruments to ensure accuracy and precision. Maintain accurate and up-to-date gauge documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with production teams to identify and address any quality issues promptly. Implement and maintain a robust quality control system, including documentation and record-keeping. Perform regular audits and inspections to identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices. Work closely with the engineering team to develop and improve measurement processes. Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for process improvement. Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations, such asISO 9001.
