Job Title:
I&C Technician Job Description This I&C Technician role offers an opportunity to join a respected and accomplished company thriving across the East Coast. Responsibilities Perform intermediate instrumentation and controls troubleshooting. Conduct repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on all site equipment and systems. Manage process measurement and control, utility, laboratory, and bench-top instrumentation. Perform calibration including loop checks, humidity, temperature, and pH checks. Engage in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of valves and switches. Essential Skills 5+ years of instrumentation experience. Experience with manufacturing equipment. Proficiency in Delta V systems, VDS, and Siemens PLCs. Experience with AMS-communication/Field bus. Experience with 4-20mA transmitters and Analog devices. Strong troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications A two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field. Equivalent military training and two years of applicable experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. Basic understanding of GMP's and Life Science Industry regulations. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Work Environment This is a fully onsite role in a construction setting at a greenfield site, emphasizing safety and awareness. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts, potentially extending to 50 hours per week due to workload. Steel-toed boots are required, and reimbursement is provided. OSHA 10 certification is highly valued, and the company offers this training if needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wilson, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
