About the
Role:
As a Automation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our automated equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance, documenting work activities, and replacing key components such as motors, circuit boards, sensors, bearings, and air cylinders. You will need to troubleshoot issues and identify the root cause of problems to maintain optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct preventative maintenance on automated equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliability. Document maintenance activities and work performed to maintain accurate records. Replace and repair motors, circuit boards, sensors, bearings, and air cylinders. Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify and resolve the root cause of problems. Work independently during shifts, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation of machinery. Willingness to learn and grow; mechanical experience is a plus, but we provide training for maintaining our specific equipment.
Who You Are:
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair automated equipment. Experience in preventative maintenance and repair of industrial machinery is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements :
Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects (with or without reasonable accommodation)
