Job Description
Support prototype electronic assembly bring-up, PCB testing, troubleshooting, rework, and test fixture development. Job Requirements Associate degree in Electronics, two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification, or equivalent experience Experience troubleshooting PCB subassembly failure modes to identify root cause Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components Knowledge of electronic test equipment and methods, including multimeters and oscilloscopes Ability to read engineering documents such as schematics and diagrams Ability to interpret product and process component datasheets Ability to assemble and disassemble products Ability to maintain and repair lab equipment Ability to use personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing software Ability to research, tabulate, and summarize data Ability to learn advanced computer applications Mechanical aptitude Preferred Skills 3 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting PCB subassembly failure modes 3 years of hands-on soldering experience with fine-pitch surface mount components 3 years of hands-on experience using electronic test equipment Experience running and maintaining 3D printers Experience with printed circuit board layout Experience machining and modifying materials such as aluminum, steel, plastics, and fiberglass Experience using advanced test equipment such as logic analyzers and spectrum analyzers Experience working with John Deere electronic components and systems Experience working with John Deere equipment and machinery Job Responsibilities Support design engineering on prototype bring-up, PCB assembly troubleshooting, testing, and debugging Create flying probe programs using

software Perform inspection, testing, and failure analysis to determine causes of defective electronic assemblies Research, gather, and summarize data for root cause analysis Rework products to company and industry standards Build test harnesses, loads, fixtures, and circuit boards to support product design Document and maintain records of work performed Identify process or design problems and support corrective actions Conduct manual testing of electronic circuits and PCBs according to engineering instructions Create and update test documentation for prototype productsPay Details:
