Job Description

Small Engine Specialists is hiring a Two-Cycle Technician to support our service department and help maintain strong shop efficiency and repair quality. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing two-cycle equipment while working within our established service process. You will be expected to produce consistent, accurate work and contribute to overall shop flow. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build real mechanical skill, take ownership of their work, and grow into a higher-level technician over time. About Small Engine Specialists, Inc. Since 1990, Small Engine Specialists, Inc. has been a trusted, family-run outdoor power equipment business serving Lincoln and the surrounding communities. What began as a neighborhood shop built on honesty, quality, and personal service has grown into a respected local brand known for expertise, reliability, and genuine care for customers. Today, the business is led by Brady Fink, who purchased SES from his father, Dan, after growing up in the shop. Brady brings a fresh vision for the future while protecting the values that built the company. SES is now entering a new chapter focused on raising standards, strengthening systems, and building a high-performing team. Unlike big box retailers, we don't hand customers a boxed machine and send them on their way. Every piece of equipment is fully assembled, inspected, and tested by our technicians. We walk customers through operation, maintenance, and best practices to ensure they leave confident and supported. As we implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), our mission is to deliver a more consistent, elite experience for customers and a clearer, more accountable work environment for our team. Our long-term vision includes growing SES into a premier, scalable operation built to serve both homeowners and professionals at the highest level. For more than 30 years, families, property owners, and commercial clients have trusted Small Engine Specialists for dependable equipment and honest, hometown service.
