If our goals and values resonate with you, we would love to connect! We are currently seeking a Calibration Technician to join our team! Under the direction of the Calibration Supervisor, you will be responsible perform calibration of geotechnical instrumentation, including set-up, testing, and analyzing measurement instruments ensuring they are within GEOKON established acceptance criteria.Requirements:
Set up calibration equipment specific to the instruments being calibrated Perform routine equipment maintenance Utilize equipment to monitor, test, and calibrate geotechnical equipment to established acceptance criteria Perform pressure, angle, displacement, compression, and tension calibration traceable to NIST compliance with ISO requirements Diagnose and trouble shoot instrument failures Generate documentation for out of tolerance conditions for Engineering review and approval Collect, analyze, review, and save calibration data Maintain daily output report Print, file, and scan calibration reports to designated locations Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and quality procedures Your Contributions High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of experience preferred Experience with instrumentation, calibration, metrology, or testing environments preferred Proficiency Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude Strong organizational skills Strong mechanical aptitude Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to safely lift and maneuver calibration fixtures/ instrumentation assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time What to expect withGEOKON:
