This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment across various applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools, and experience working with computer hardware and low-voltage systems. Duties This role involves constructing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical assemblies using technical drawings, schematics, and specialized equipment. The technician ensures product functionality through calibration, repair, and data analysis, while collaborating with engineers and team members to support product improvements and manufacturing transitions.
Assembly Construction:
Build assemblies from drawings, schematics, manuals, and instructions.
Basic Testing:
Use multimeters and standard equipment to troubleshoot and perform routine measurements.
Advanced Testing:
Operate oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized equipment to test, align, calibrate, and verify product function.
Repair & Soldering:
Replace defective components and perform soldering or assembly repairs as needed.
Data Analysis:
Conduct experiments, analyze test data, and ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Documentation:
Compile technical data, maintain records, and present findings.
Collaboration:
Discuss technical issues with team leaders, senior technicians, and engineers.
Process Improvement:
Establish procedures, support product transitions, and recommend efficiency improvements.
Training Support:
Provide technical instructions to team members and support personnel.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.
MUST HAVE
Must have 3-5 years of experience assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic or electromechanical products Must have hands-on experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other electronic test equipment Should be able to diagnose failures, troubleshoot assemblies, identify defective components, and perform repairs independently Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals Experience with soldering, PCB rework, component replacement, calibration, alignment, and functional testing is required Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related technical field is strongly preferred Candidate should have experience documenting test results, analyzing technical data, and using Microsoft Office tools.

$32.00 - $35.00 per hour
