#LI-Skilled-01 Job Summary This position is responsible for operating laser machining equipment at our work center. The primary responsibility is to perform laser machine operations on components following work instructions and verbal or written directions. The role requires familiarity with procedures and operates under direct supervision. The position emphasizes teamwork, requiring the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities Perform simple to medium complexity tasks related to customer-specific process requirements, with the ability to comprehend documentation requirements. Verify system conditions or equipment status before operation. Inspect components to ensure specifications are met. Enter data as required. Train other employees on production processes or equipment usage as requested by the Supervisor. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow instructions from the Supervisor and/or Production Manager and conduct all work according to company policy and safe labor practices. Use laser radiation (non-ionizing) sources safely, considering the various wavelengths of laser light utilized, in accordance with personal protection policies. Maintain a professional and appropriate manner and uphold a high standard of conduct and job performance. Required Qualifications Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. High School Diploma or equivalent, or completion of primary school in Costa Rica. Preferred Qualifications Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment. Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems, particularly in medical device manufacturing. Use of optical inspection equipment, such as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacity.
