Job Description
CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Electronic Technician candidates in the Newington, NH area.
Responsibilities:
Repair, install, inspect, and maintain electronic systems and instrumentation using verbal and written instructions, schematics, drawings, and specifications. Calibrate electronic instrumentation and sensing devices used to monitor manufacturing processes in accordance with established calibration programs and NIST standards. Install, maintain, and repair facility systems including cameras, paging, and speaker systems. Troubleshoot and support industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and process control equipment. Collaborate with skilled trades, engineers, production staff, and supervisors to modify electronic components and improve process control functionality. Complete maintenance and calibration documentation accurately in both paper records and computerized systems. Review maintenance manuals, work instructions, electrical schematics, and blueprints to support repairs and upgrades. Evaluate material and replacement part requirements and determine appropriate repair methods. Support production line setup verification in coordination with inspectors. Perform routine audits of production lines and associated electronic systems. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and powered industrial equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet jacks. Adhere to all safety policies, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout procedures, andNFPA 70E
requirements. Respond efficiently to multiple assignments and changing priorities. Support additional maintenance or technical projects as assigned. Overtime may be required based on business needs; regular attendance is required.Desired Background/Skills:
Associate degree in Electronic Technology plus 5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial control systems and electronic equipment or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (entry-level candidates considered) Hands-on experience with: Experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and VFD motor controls. Experience with temperature controllers. Knowledge of sensors, including temperature, pressure, proximity, level, and flow. Experience with rotary encoders and counters. Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related test equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and work instructions. Working knowledge of SCADA systems. Understanding of electronic instrumentation calibration programs. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to adapt to changing responsibilities and manage multiple concurrent tasks. Solid math skills, including calculation of rates, ratios, and percentages. Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, VBA, or C++ is a plus. Ability to pass written and hands‑on job‑related assessments. Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends, as required.Other Information:
