We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our Quality Control department. This is an in-house role with no field travel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the final testing and quality inspection of our electronic products, diagnosing and repairing returned units, performing equipment calibration, and delivering professional technical support to our customers. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in hands-on work, accurate documentation, and excellent customer communication.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Final testing and quality inspection of all electronic products prior to shipment Diagnose and repair returned electronic equipment to the component level Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and failures using schematics, test equipment, and systematic diagnostic methods Calibrate instruments and equipment in accordance with specifications and work instructions Assist with modification and rework of electronic prototypes under direction of the engineering team Provide professional technical support and customer service for product-related inquiries and return authorizations Maintain accurate records of tests, repairs, calibrations, and customer interactions Back up production board testing as needed Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documents Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards Perform other duties and projects as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree (A.A.) from an accredited two-year college or technical school in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or a related fieldAlternatively:
two to four years of directly related hands-on experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits and PCBs to the component level Proficiency with test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and purpose-built test fixtures Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and engineering drawings Solid understanding of electronic theory and circuit analysis Soldering proficiency, including surface-mount components, is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, particularly for customer-facing interactions Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a production-paced environment U.S. citizenship or permanent authorization to work in the United States is requiredWHAT WE OFFER
