Job Description

Job Title:
Assembler Job Description As an Assembler, you will play a pivotal role in supporting manufacturing processes through your expertise in supply chain processing, mechanical assembly, and product testing. Your contributions will extend to supporting engineering efforts with prototype PCB creation and component procurement, as well as assisting operations by maintaining office equipment and performing various general duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling both international and domestic shipments and troubleshooting electrical failures on circuit boards. Responsibilities Construct and wire ultrasonic transducers for ultrasonic cleaning units. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate construction and wiring of ultrasonic transducers and control cabinets. Perform routine hi-pot testing and impedance analysis on ultrasonic transducer arrays. Build and wire electrical control cabinets and boxes for ultrasonic cleaners, including installing timers, relays, switches, and PLCs. Develop cleaning procedures for ultrasonic transducer components using specialized cleaning systems. Clean parts for the transducer assembly team. Perform transducer repairs and minor circuit board soldering as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly, mechanical work, and the use of hand tools. Strong skills in wiring and soldering, with experience in using tape measures and schematic interpretation. Ability to execute procedures professionally and communicate effectively. Possession of an electronic technical certificate. A minimum of 2 years of experience and working knowledge of electronics, manufacturing, and test equipment. Good soldering skills and electronic troubleshooting abilities. Proficiency in computers, MRP systems, and Microsoft Excel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with engineering, electrical safety, industrial and electrical maintenance. Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electrical controls. Experience in maintenance and repair. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ewing, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
