We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Guitar Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of stringed instruments, focusing primarily on electric and acoustic guitars. You will work closely with our team to understand our clients' needs and deliver high-quality results that meet or exceed their expectations.

Our team is passionate about helping musicians achieve the best possible sound and playability from their instruments.
Responsibilities:
Perform guitar setups, including string changes, adjusting truss rods, action, intonation, and addressing tuning stability issues. Diagnose and repair structural issues, such as cracks, bridge separation, and neck repairs. Repair and replace components such as frets, nuts, saddles, tuning machines, and electronics. Conduct fret dressing, leveling, and crowning for smooth playability. Troubleshoot and repair guitar electronics, including pickups, pots, wiring, and output jacks. Perform customizations per client requests, such as pickup replacements, modifications, and hardware upgrades. Ensure high standards of quality and craftsmanship in all work performed. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly care for shop tools and equipment. Communicate with the team and with clients to discuss repair needs, estimated costs, and timelines. Provide guidance to customers on proper care and maintenance of their guitars.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a guitar repair technician or a related role. Strong knowledge of guitar anatomy and mechanics. Proficiency in performing setups. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Preferred Qualifications (Not Required): Certification in guitar repair or lutherie from an accredited program or similar training. Proficiency in performing fretwork, electronics repair, and structural repairs. Familiarity with a variety of guitar brands, models, and playing styles. Basic knowledge of woodworking and refinishing techniques.
