$21 - $24 hour Job Description As an Electronics Technician, you will assemble aerospace power supply units and electronic modules according to engineering documentation. Your role includes performing high-reliability soldering and cable harnessing, testing AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion systems and aircraft power platforms, conducting environmental and burn-in testing, diagnosing and repairing electronic assemblies to the component level, and using electronic test equipment to identify failures in switching power circuits. Additionally, you will maintain accurate test and configuration documentation and support qualification, production, and sustainment activities while adhering to aerospace and military quality standards. Responsibilities Assemble aerospace grade power supplies, DC-DC converters, inverters, and electronic modules per drawings and schematics. Perform functional testing of aircraft power systems, and 270V HVDC systems. Support environmental testing including thermal, vibration, and burn-in. Diagnose failures to component level and troubleshoot switching power stages using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power analyzers, and load banks. Test and troubleshoot PC boards to component level. Support qualification and sustainment activities in accordance with aerospace and military standards. Essential Skills Strong understanding of switching power supply topologies (buck, boost, flyback, full‑bridge). Knowledge of analog and digital control circuits. Familiarity with EMI/EMC mitigation techniques. Ability to follow high‑voltage safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Budd Lake, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
