Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30
PM Salary:
Starting at $28.00 per hour, with the potential for higher compensation based on experience. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to fill an immediate opening. The ideal candidate will excel in diagnostic troubleshooting, schematic interpretation, and hands-on testing using industry-standard tools, with a focus on PLC-controlled and 3-phase power systems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while providing exceptional customer support and honing expertise in electronics repair and fabrication.
Key Responsibilities Schematic Analysis and Troubleshooting:
Proficiently read and interpret detailed electrical schematics and blueprints to diagnose faults in wiring harnesses, PLC-controlled systems, and 3-phase power systems using digital multimeters (DMM), and other diagnostic test equipment. Conduct precise measurements for voltage, current, resistance, and signal integrity to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Perform component-level repairs, including soldering while leveraging strong mechanical skills for assembly and modifications. Provide excellent customer service and technical support via phone and email, documenting repair processes, test results, and maintenance logs to ensure compliance with quality standards and traceability. Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development and field service activities, including occasional travel as needed. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols, with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be open to travel when field service is needed. Required Qualifications Minimum of three years of technical experience in an industrial setting, with essential knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and 3-phase power systems.
Demonstrated Expertise:
Strong ability to read and analyze schematics; advanced proficiency with multimeters and various test equipment for troubleshooting; adept at fault isolation in complex electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach, combined with strong mechanical aptitude. Excellent customer service skills for providing support via phone and email. Ability to work independently or in a team, with strong attention to detail; occasional travel required; physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
