Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Powersports Technician and fuel your passion for high-performance vehicles! In this energetic role, you'll be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of powersports equipment, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft. Your mechanical expertise will keep customers excited about their adventures while ensuring safety and reliability. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive and powersports-specific tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently Conduct repairs and maintenance on various powersports vehicles, including engine work, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and electrical troubleshooting Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to complete repairs with precision Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble vehicle components ensuring all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications Conduct vehicle inspections for safety compliance and perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs or part replacements Communicate effectively with customers about repair needs, service recommendations, and maintenance schedules to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain detailed service records, parts inventory logs, and ensure all work is documented accurately for quality assurance Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in powersports repair environments, Lightspeed experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of motorcycle and UTV/ATV engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension components, and vehicle assembly processes Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and troubleshooting procedures specific to powersports equipment Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and other mechanical repair tools Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on large or heavy vehicle parts Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally Prior experience with automotive repair procedures such as brake repair, suspension work, welding tasks, and vehicle maintenance tasks is highly desirable Embark on an exciting career where your mechanical talents make a real difference!
